The future starts now
Newcastle New Deal for Communities has been reinvented after a decade of hard work to bring change to the city's west end. Since 2000 we've helped to cut crime by almost half, improved over 2000 homes, and helped over 1300 local people into jobs.
Now it’s time for a different approach. New Deal has become Centre West – a charitable company with a community vision. A new kind of organisation to keep the community in charge and keep the changes coming not that our Government funding has ended.
New Deal has made a real difference. Now it’s time to move forward together as Centre West.
